| In the area surrounding the opera
house, in the Marché Saint Honore Plaza, are gathered
several pleasant restaurants and cafes. Here, around the
ancient castles, you’ll find the Point Bar, a small place
with only 20 seats that was opened in 2004 by the daughter
of the renowned 2 star chef of Tours, Jean Bardet. The chef
honed his skill at other two star restaurants (Caree des
Feuillants and Le Cinq), and here he offers classic, light
food,

filled with originality. The rest
of the staff is really nice, too! For lunch they
have the recommended course of that day's special, a
glass of wine, and a coffee for €15, and at night
you can get an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert
course for €38. In this neighborhood, for this food,
that price is pretty great. When you want to eat
delicious French food comfortably, this is the
place.(2008-01-10)
