Pause Café, known by the film 'Chacun Cherche Son Chat' released in 1996, is one of the earliest stylish cafés in the city. It's situated on 'Rue de Charonne' in Bastille district, the mecca of the Bobo people. (Bourgeois Bohème, rich but bohemian in heart) This café is their casual eating spot, where even the children are stylish. The staff are very friendly and we got the feeling of being a celebrity...The food served was beyond our expectation, much more than what an ordinary café can offer. Around 30€ with beverage. Nice terrace, too.
