This is a very original ladies'
collection created by Marie Labarelle, ex-architect
designer. Four years ago, she took up a needle and thread
instead of a pencil and a tape measure, and started to make
clothes. On April 2007, she opened her own shop in the
Marais district at last. It is a small place but filled with
her creative energy. Her originality comes from form with
volume and 3D shape. You can easily imagine that she was
architect once you see her designs.
'Paon(means peacock skirt'(photo) is one of the most popular
designs. The hem is expanded with a thin wire, like a
peacock spreads her wings.
Please note that the shop is only open on Fridays, Saturdays
and Sundays, as she is working at her atelier from Mon. to
Thu. Size ranges from XS to XL. The price of skirt is around
95€, Tops around 65€ and dresses around 95-200€. It is the
style that you can't find anywhere else than Paris...we
recommend strongly.
