A young talented chef who worked at the 3-star ‘Lucas
Carlton’ is now in this bistro, which soon became one of the
best bistros in Paris. It first seems like an ordinary
bistro, but if you observe further, you will notice the
difference such as the appropriate advice for wine selection
and the quality of breads. At lunchtime, there is only
3-course menu. I chose gazpacho soup with tuna tartar and
mustard ice cream as appetizer, sautéed pork, quite tender,
accompanied with stewed leak with curry cream as main
course, and fresh strawberry Mille-feuille as dessert. 25€
is very reasonable. The bistro is located on 2 stations from
Montparnasse. Although the district is not so common for
tourists, it’s near Saint Lazare or Invalides when you take
metro. If your hotel is in the left bank, we recommend this
bistro.
