| Louis XIV ordered the construction of this building to house disabled soldiers, a part of which is open to the public as the Army Museum. The audio guide will help you to discover this as one of the richest military museums of the world. Invalides is also known for the tomb of the Emperor Napoleon, who was buried here in the crypt under the golden dome. You have to buy museum ticket to visit it.
